Takeaway Practice Again

I often take videos of my swing at driving range to change one by one. I’ve worked so long to fix many parts, but changing one part still takes a long time.

Currently, I am working on my back swing, takeaway. My iron is better now, but for driver I have a long way to go. So many parts needed to change.

First, my head position. My head goes down so much during takeaway, because I press down my clubs at the beginning of takeaway. I’ve been working on getting rid of this habit for years, but I still have this habit. My coach points I should turn my body from the beginning with lifting my club feeling like lifting my whole body. I know I can’t change it anytime soon, but I am still working on it.

Second, my club head position at the takeaway. I focused it one year ago, but now I came back to it again. My club head should be in front of my hand, but mine is slightly behind my hand.

Ayun Cho, Hyejin Choi, Jungen Lee 6.. club head positions are different, but still club head is in front of hand position.

There is no right swing. Still, I am happy to improve my swing one by one.

Also wishing my left arm is closer to my body, but this is a part I’ve improved comparing one year ago. This is my takeaway one year ago.

One year ago. I focuse more on turning now, so clubhead’s position is a little behind now.
