Derrick is the most popular teaching pro at Rancho Park. I never got lessons from him, but we’ve known for years, because I’ve come to the course and driving range so aften. Sometimes when I was at the driving range, he gave small tips on my swing.
On Thursday, he saw me and gave tips about my address position. I’ve seen thousands of pro swings and so many different address positions. I realized I didn’t find an address position for my driver which makes me comfortable. I followed some of his tips and my takeaway and backswing got much easier.
