You can’t see fairway at the 18th tee box. Once Bryson DeChambeau climbed the hill and found out his ball was on the fairway, he delightly said “Yeah, Fairway!” and made a birdie. His caddie and I only heard that, but somehow that was very impressive to me. He missed all fairways for the first 8 holes (he started back9) and that was his first driver shot on fairway by far.
Most players in that situation probably lost mind and gave up game for the day. but he kept trying. His positiveness at 18th hole influenced his remaining game, and no bogeys and four birdies during the last 10 holes. He seemed to find his swing mechanic during a round. I also read an article that he stayed last yesterday at driving range. I learned hard work and positiveness from this great athlete today.
